We gather Mondays, Tuesdays, and some Fridays to practice songs and play together. With a mix of solos, duets, trios, quartets, and sometimes full audience sing-a-longs, we perform our perfected programs at elderly homes and other related environments, to bring more cheer into other communities.

Barlow CTM (Connected Through Music) is a high school small ensemble from Joel Barlow High School dedicated to sharing the joy of music with those who may have a hard time finding it, particularly in settings like elderly homes and community centers.

What We Do

We gather Mondays, Tuesdays, and some Fridays after school to rehearse a diverse repertoire, ranging from classical pieces and jazz standards to popular tunes and seasonal favorites. Our performances often feature a mix of solos, duets, trios, quartets, and full ensemble numbers. We strive to create engaging programs that bring cheer and connection through music.
